Bath Open Top Bus Tour
by Abby Searle
On Friday some of the children of the nursery will be going on an open top bus tour of Bath.
The outing is being organised as part of a project about the communities in which each of the children live. During this project the children have been using maps of Bath and the local area to share in their journeys to and from nursery and to identifying what they see as significant land marks.
A small group of children who have shown a deep interest in this project will be going on the open top bus tour with staff from the Discovery Room with the aim of taking photos of the journey and places they see to make a visual map of their community when they return to nursery.
Examples of the children’s work so far can be seen on the learning wall in the Discovery Room, we welcome parents to come in to have a look.
