Reflection
We live in a busy, noisy, stimulating world and all of us need moments of peace and quiet – so do children. This room is a haven where children can retreat from the main group if they wish, to play without interruption, relax and daydream.
This room allows sensory exploration with the use of lights, music and textures.
This area also links the indoors with the garden, and children can bring in precious finds to gaze at under the magnifying glass and light table. The kaleidoscopic mirrors open up endless images and create exciting new worlds, colours and reflections.
The outdoor area is always accessible and children are encouraged to play outside in all weather conditions.
