Essential Information

Norland Nursery cares for and educates 61 children aged from 16 weeks to five years. Its philosophy is underpinned by that of Norland College, and based on a strong foundation of principles centered on the ideas of Froebel (the German educationalist best known as the originator of the ‘kindergarten system').

Our staff are highly qualified and uphold all of the values of Norland. The child is at the centre of every decision we make at the nursery and the Norland motto ‘Love Never Faileth’ is as evident throughout.

Opening Times

The nursery is open from 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday, closing on Bank holidays and for Christmas.

This year the Christmas closures will be Thursday 22 December 2011 until Tuesday 3 January 2012.

Parents can use the nursery drop off area right outside to drop off by car, or the nursery buggy park where buggies can be left at the nursery until pick up.

Sessions

To ensure continuity for your child and to give the best learning and care opportunities possible, we have a minimum attendance policy of three sessions per week.

Sessions run from 8.00am to 12.30pm and 1.30 pm to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.

If you would like to extend a half day session to include lunch this session runs from 12.30 – 1.30pm.

Full day care is 8.00am – 6.00pm including lunch and snacks.
