In the December 2009 Ofsetd inspection Norland Nursery was awarded an overall ‘Good’ assessment.

"Children make good progress in their learning and development and their welfare is effectively promoted."

"Children make secure attachments with their key family and children are respected and valued as individuals."

"Strong and positive partnerships between providers, parents and other agencies ensure children's individual needs are met."

"Excellent settling in arrangements, for instance, through home visits and regular dialogue with parents, ensure that staff know their children exceptionally well and behaviour is very good."

Bath Local Authority

In January 2011 Norland Nursery was categorised as a level one setting by the local authority. This is the highest award given to early years settings for the care and education offered to children and their families. 

Nursery Management Today Awards

Norland Nursery were finalists in the national Nursery Management Today awards in 2010 in two categories, Nursery Business Newcomer and Nursery Indoor Environment.

Nursery World Awards 2011 - Enabling Environments

Norland Nursery were delighted to be shortlisted as finalists at the Nursery World Awards.  We were joined in the category of Enabling Environments by 6 other strong contenders at this national awards ceremony. While we were sad not to have won, we were extremely proud to have been nominated as finalists.
